The reading is captivating. The story is exposed with enough details about Daria’s relationships with her family members and acquaintances and with places for the reader to understand the context and be prepared for what is to come. The extremely well-constructed storyline started with light corporate, friendship and family stories. Then, it escalated very quickly in the second chapter with the reveal of Daria’s cancer and the symphony of escalation kept going. But this still doesn’t prepare the reader for the creatively brought-up twists of the story in the whole second part of the novel. This novel got me through many emotions, from happiness to confusion. It moved me.
